Dr. Anderson was appointed by God to serve as Followers of Christ Fellowship Ministries Inc. Founding Pastor on July 13, 2012. Prior to that, he served twenty-five years as Senior pastor of St. John First Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Florida.

He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Followers of Christ Fellowship Ministries Inc, where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Dr. Anderson takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending many hours in preparing for Bible study and the Preaching of God's word.

He graduated from Knox Theological Seminary in 2015 with a Doctor of Ministry degree.

Dr. Anderson has been happily married for 37 years to his wife, Teresa. They have three children : Terika, Rickey, Jr and Rickey Terrell.

Lady Anderson serves as the Executive Administrator of Followers of Christ Fellowship Ministries Inc's since January 26, 2016.
